Tuesday Friday's Raid

First off thank you to both Konstance & Jalzin for showing up and helping things get on a roll, you all did a great job considering our circumstances. We obviously have a few things we need to work on to get back on a roll, but I'm sure we can do it, if need be we can always have some fun time doing respecs if people are willing, we'll have to see what we can get permanently.

Also, huge congratulations to Namoric on the bad ass epic mount AKA Nightbane. Even though it looks almost like a Warlock horse, he still deserves some congratulations on it. So... congrats to you! :p

Konstance won't be able to make it this upcoming Friday, she has something going on IRL that she needs to take care of. I guess the important thing to do right now is find another healer if we don't want to dual-heal this thing.

As for an off-tank, I've spoken with Jalzin and he's willing to fill in for us until we find something more permanent. This Friday he will be speccing for DPS instead of Prot, but he has to remain Prot for his guild since he's the only level 70 warrior they have. However, things may change and he may go full time DPS and become our off-tank. A quick FYI on him is that he's experienced in Karazhan with his mage but this Tuesday was his first time in as a warrior, so things can only improve.

Thanks Sleyvas

Sleyvas, I don't know what the story is. You got hacked and your character is transfered to Undermine, or you got a good offer from an old raiding guild and transfered back, or whatever, but in so many words "It was dick of you to not tell us." and play the "I might not be there Tuesday because I might have to work." card. Either way I guess we're ending up severing ties here and now unless you got majorly hacked or something serious. Talking all the crap about Blackfang Brotherhood and our guild drama and then talking about loyalty, etc. What a load of bull.

So on behalf of the Skullfang raid:

"Thanks for taking all the loot and leaving us in the dust, you're a real hero."

August 21st & Alenaira

On August 21, Tuesday's raid. If there is one I guess. I'm sure there will be one. I will not be at that Kara's raid or maybe the next time. School starts up on the 22nd here of August and I like to get my ass on the ball instead of worrying on a game right now..

I will try best to either come, if not find a replacement for me.

Sylvina + Tank = ?

Okay, just throwing this out there, but I'd like to bust my ass in order to get gear to become an efficient off-tank for some of the trash pulls we have to deal with. More or less this is a request/statement I'm making so I can loot whore the hand me downs from Ignignoct. It's entirely up to the raid as a whole though obviously, I'm just stating that I'd like to try and fulfill the off-tank role after I get some decent epic gear (I don't do too hot in blues even as Prot spec.)

Why do we need an off-tank? Well if Ignignoct or Sleyvas can't make it to a raid somebody is going to have to fill someone's shoes. I also know that Sleyvas really doesn't want to continue tanking or bringing Sleyvas (from my understanding he originally signed on for this whole deal as his Rogue.) I'd like to try and build my gear up so I can at least fill the off-tank shoes to some degree while remaining in Holy spec. Before you say you can't do it, I've noticed something with Prot spec, being specced Prot and being specced Holy/Prot is basically the same thing except you suck at healing. Prot really doesn't have any MAJOR benefits to it aside from Ardent Defender and perhaps Holy Shield, but even those talents aren't entirely required if your gear gets to a certain point. It more or less breaks down into needing a lot of +STA and +DEF, which is exactly what I'm working on.

Confusion & Loot

Recently there was some hubbub about Namoric and the dagger that dropped off the Prince. After doing some investigative work it turns out that Namoric wasn't angry about the dagger at all and was in fact just tired and logging off. I think it may of gotten blown out of proportion, but that happens sometimes.

Something I want to touch on is that I think our group feels very 'competitive' for loot. I think we need to work better on our 'sharing' skills, so that EVERYONE can get something. If you won some stuff last week, then pass for the person this week. This problem really only occurs between the following people/classes:

- Weaponry for all weapon users
- Alenaira & Yuzuki for Mail gear
- Arinelle & Myself for Paladin gear
- Warlocks & Mages with Cloth DPS gear
- Priests with cloth healing gear.

I try my best to pass on things if I don't desperately need it (I still feel bad about taking that Necklace from Konstance, I didn't realize she was being serious), or if I already have a good piece of armor compared to the person who wants to roll for it. In general, the more we share amongst ourselves, the better our group and teamwork will become. It's cool to get a weapon or item first, but if we plan on doing Karazhan multiple times and farming it to death then we're pretty much all going to get the items we want eventually.

I'd like to know all your thoughts and opinions about this and if you feel that you have to compete against somebody else.

Arinelle's Question

Ok...so why is your guild so uptight? Someone gets singled out, I comment about it and now I'm the bad guy...

Something is wrong with this picture...when you are in a guild you are supposed to stick up for each other, not pick at each other. :(
